Hats Episode 1
Jesus the Prophet
As we see throughout the bible there are many prophets that worked for God. Moses, Deborah, Samuel, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Jonah, and even John the Baptist were just some of the prophets that we know of that were God’s prophets. These prophets were quite simply messengers of God. But even Jesus was considered to be a prophet by the people he came to save. His message was that God loved everyone and so did he. Jesus was speaking the Good news that if you would just believe in God and the one he sent, Jesus, then you would be forgiven of your sins and spend forever with him in heaven.
Now we, who are Christ’s followers, have that same message that we are to tell the world. What made a prophet, or God’s messengers, so awesome was that they were bold, or brave, in that they would share God’s message where ever He told them to or do whatever he asked because they knew he would be with them. So as we deliver the message of the Good News we have no reason to be afraid to share it with the world. The bible says that “I will not be ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus, because it is the power of God to those who believe in it.” Romans 1:16 We have the good news that Jesus came to take away our sins but we have to believe in him. When we believe in him we will one day live with him in heaven forever. Take this message to everyone, and you don’t need to be scared. Stand up for what is right and speak what is true, because God’s great power is always in you.

Please take Note!!!
We want your children to have one of the most enjoyable and educational times that they possibly can have in their time with us. We want your kids to have their time with us to be the best 70 minutes of their week. To do this we need them to carry their equipment with them as well. We have discovered that lots of our kids don’t have one of the most important pieces of being a follower of Christ. Some of our kids don’t bring a bible to our services and some have stated that they don’t even own one. We would love our kids to develop their love not only for scripture that id digitally broadcasted but for his physically written word. We want to help your children know the bible by them knowing where the books of the bible are and even certain passages of scripture as we journey with your kids through their walk with Christ. So please have your child bring a bible with them or if you can’t afford one let us know and we will do what we can to help your child have their very own bible.
